Association of Physician of Ahmedabad was established in the year of 1970 and the first president being elected was Dr. R. B. Patel. Since then APA has travelled long distance in becoming one of consistently growing organization in terms of members as well as activities.

APA organizes many of National level conference with great success in the city of Ahmedabad.

APA organize academic activities with entertainment, health education programs, public awareness programs, family meets etc through out the year.

 

Mission

The Objective of the Association are :

• The spread of education in the science and art of medicines in all its branches and in particular in relation to matters of professional interest to Physicians such as, General medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Gestroentrology, Nephrology, Heametology, Cancer, Diabetology etc.
• To Better equip Physicians to enable them to discharge their obligations towards the advancement or promotion of health education and thereby leading to better healthcare services for the benefit of the entire community.
• To education the general public and carry out activities for public awareness and consciousness regarding health and medicine.
• To carry on activities for the extension of knowledge in the fields of Healthcare, Medicines, Research, Management and related science.
